Welcome to the new Dive Works WebsiteWelcome to the site. It is a hybrid dynamic html
and Flash build meaning you will need to allow activeX unless your
browser settings already allow it to run to get a lot of this sites
functionality. This is done by clicking the drop down panel at the
top of the page for IE users. Also you will need a flash player to
see most of the graphics. I chose this design simply to allow fast
load times as well as new web technology like the site search
bar at the top of each page, cgi form emailer, and also to make it
more secure.
This site will soon feature a 128bit inscription so that any information submitted will be handled securely. Until then we will not be asking for credit cards online, only innocuous information about your boats location, the type of service your requesting and a way to get in touch with you will be required. Dive Works is a full service dive company with over a decade of dedicated service to the boaters of Clearlake and Galveston Tx. We are primarily a yacht maintenance service with moderate salvage capabilities. We have raised several dozens of boats for SeaTow, TowBoatsU.S, as well as provided general diving support to Zachary Construction, The U.S.Coast Guard, and worked on the Bayport Container project while under construction.
Dive Works is now on Twitter. We will be using Twitter to spread information about Major Storms that will impact our area, Local information from where boaters have spotted hazards. Our feed will alert you to specials that we run at certain times of the year. It costs nothing to join and we will work hard to make sure our tweets are useful and used sparingly. As an incentive to get this program running I will be offering a one time 10% off labor to any customer that follows us on Twitter, so before you schedule your next service take 20 seconds and save yourself some money by helping us bring a worthewhile feature to our comapany.
