Restaurants

Portofino - Our Absolute favorite place to eat, a little high end for casual dining but still 25$ or so plates. You should call ahead and request mike, He makes sure that you dine and performs his job with five star class. Voted best water front restaurant in Houston by the Houston Chronicle. Off 2094 Turn between The Beer Garden and Oakie's then its half a block on the left

Bay View Duck  - An English pub . Inexpensive ( 6$-8$) great food with lots of Character - Scotch eggs and Guinness Beef are a must. Usual have Celtic bands on Friday evenings. On HWY146, 2 miles south of Kemah

Fred's Great breakfast, they make their own bread & biscuits, Also they give each person family sized portions for very little money. Tucked away in a small strip mall you'll have to look closely a couple miles down on Nasa Rd.1 from HWY146 on the right.

Skipper's Greek restaurant in name though they have everything. Causal, great breakfast, local boater eatery, Belly Dancers on Saturday evenings - Tasteful and unique. On 2094 a mile up from Hwy 146

The Board Walk  (we are trying to high light the lesser known establishments with so much to offer, but I would be doing visitors a disservice if the Landry's  Bunch were not mentioned) All the Landry's franchises are here in all their tourist trapping glory. This place is a family outing extravaganza, a virtual carnival of sidewalk entertainment and a plethora of restaurants for dining. Crowds can be quite heavy and parking/traffic is chaotic so choose your visiting times wisely.
