Welcome to our Website

Welcome to our new website, formally launching April 2nd, 2011. It still has a few bugs to iron out. NOTE: The online scheduling form is not yet working.

Why you should read the Side Boxes:

First if you are new to the site, or new to boating, or even new to our area I want to call attention to the side content boxes on the left side of each page below the menu. Alot of time has been taken to fill them with Intresting tid bits from Trivia, Boat jokes, Nautical Remedies, Factiods, and Site features on which you may otherwise missout. So if you have extra time and want to learn and laugh a little, explore the site's pages and read the side boxes. This home page is specifically company oriented, but all the other pages are filled great snipets of information that could make even the novice sound like a seasoned old salt....

What they didn't tell you about preventative hull maintenance:

I had a good friend who came to me for advice about buying a boat to live aboard. John was a Midwesterner who had never once set foot on a boat, let alone lived on a floating efficiency apartment. I asked him if he knew anything about tattoos, which he did not. I explained that before a person underwent an irreversible life decision like skin art, it was advised that the person first apply a drawing of the intended tattoo for a few months to be sure it agrees with them before making the final commitment. I was sure he had no idea what I was talking about at this point so I explained that boating is very similar. In preparation for owning boat you simply fill your back pockets with thumbtacks for a couple months, and if after that you are comfortable with the pain in the aft, then you my friend are ready for boating.
John in the end decided not to live on a boat; I’m not sure how much of my advice went into his staying landlocked, but I believe as I have always that boats are like children. They need a dedicated amount care and attention, and if you leave them alone for too long a time you can be assured that they will provide you with a real mess when you return. John didn’t know his head from his transom when it came to boats, and with limited resources and time to learn would have suffered a harsh lesson from the law of captain murphy.
I tell this story here because says everything that you would not read if it sounded like sales rhetoric: yes your paint lasts years longer, your boat performs at peak speeds, your metals stay protected, thru hulls are always clear, and the service pays for itself. The story is just a reminder that you own an artificial mobile island that will remain an island as long as you remember that even paradise needs an occasional lawn mower
