boat craneText Box: There are scores of boaters that stay out of the yard for four to five years and some even longer.  Recently A particular Boat Yard has taken to advising boaters to avoid divers because claiming paint life is jeopardized, if this were the case  why would government studies, universities, non-profit organizations, the paint companies themselves, and thousands of boaters speak differently? Dive services do not make money by removing paint, in order for our service to remain profitable and thereby keep you as a  customer, we have to keep you in the water for as long as possible. The Yards on the other hand do not profit by your staying out for half a decade. They want to see you back for more paint every  two years or sooner.
