propeller coating
Since prop Speed's debut I have been amazed at how well it holds up. Props stay clean around a year. Some get more, some less, but durring that time nothing, grows on it. What little does manage to stick to it justs wipes off with a soft towel. It is still a little expensive, but a promising product.

which prop goes where?
There's an easy way to tell which prop if port and starboard, Other than looking for the stamp on the hub. You lay the wheel on the dock woth the large bore side (shaft hole) facing down. Once the large side is down, you can only step on the left prop with your left foot while keeping your heal on the ground. Same goes for the starboard prop and your err starboard foot.

Cavitaion
its often hard to determine the source of vibrations, Props are the usual suspect but there are a few tips that can help you nail down the reason. A bent shaft is extremely unlikely unless you remember the oh my god moment it would have taken to bend it. A bent prop should produce vibrations all the way through the power curve. An engine mount will do this too, but alot more so when the engine is taken in and out of a heavy load. Harmonic vibrations are usually only at certain rpms that allow energy waves stack, this cause is usually from a worn out cutlas bearring.
